We are writing to thank you for seeing us through all of the complexities of our lengthy real estate transaction.  When we first listed our house for sale with you, the market was fairly strong and we had no idea what was ahead.  It seems that within weeks the market in southern California began to plummet (due to the lending crisis) and our home lost value every month.  Having to reset the price was difficult enough, but then going in and out of escrow over 5 times was truly nerve-wracking.  Then, having to face the reality of a "short sale" was a bitter pill to swallow as well.  I am sure that this was also a difficult experience for you - maybe one of the most difficult of your career!

We both want to thank you for several things:  first of all, your perseverance as you persisted with us for a very rocky 9 month period during which time you refused to give up; second, for your creativity, as you often came up with new ways to handle the obstacles that we kept encountering, and third, for your frankness and honesty as events unfolded, and also for your compassion during a very trying and difficult time for us.  Of course, we also want to thank you for selling our home!

I'm sure that you have a long and successful career ahead of you as a realtor and we hope that you don't have to deal with quite such a challenging set of situations again.  But if you do, you will certainly be able to meet the challenges.

They put on a neighborhood welcome party for us after we moved in and continue to be a close contact for us, and friends too. We were very fortunate to have them in our corner.
